Use this page to view organizational information for Helena Girls Softball Association
The Helena Girls Softball Association in a non-profit, all volunteer organization that runs an instructional league for young girls to learn all aspects of fastpitch softball. There is a competitive element that is secondary to the instructional component. Funds we raised through sponsorships and player registration fees are used to purchase equipment, uniforms and insurance for the players. Proceeds also pay for umpires, field use, maintenance and equipment. Any additional proceeds go to better the sport of softball in the area. We are proud to support the Helena High Bengal, Capital High Bruin, and now the East Helena High Vigilante school softball programs.
The HGSA is always looking for a few good people to help out. We encourage parents to be involved in their child’s sport. We value your ideas and enthusiasm. The girls who play in our league gain confidence, sportsmanship and a skill they can take with them through high school, college and life. Many of the girls who have played on HGSA teams have gone on to play in High School and College. Next time you think about helping out an organization, think of the Helena Girls Softball Association and the girls you’ll help by volunteering. As always, we would like to thank our sponsors for their support. And we thank the board members, coaches, parents and friends for volunteering their time and effort over the years to make this organization a success. We could not do this without you all!
